What you need to know

This market is asking: on June 13, 2026, what will the highest temperature of the day be in Amsterdam? Specifically, it's measured at Schiphol Airport and recorded in whole degrees Celsius — no decimals. The three options are 16°C (about 61°F), 17°C (about 63°F), or 18°C (about 64°F), and whichever bucket the actual peak temperature falls into wins. It's essentially a weather forecast turned into a question with three narrow, closely spaced answers. The market settles based on the single highest temperature recorded at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on June 13, 2026, as shown on the Weather Underground website for that station. The number is rounded to a whole degree Celsius — so 17.6°C would count as 17°C, not 18°C. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 14 appears on that site. Any corrections Weather Underground makes before that cutoff count; corrections after do not. No recent news was provided that relates to this market. That's normal this far out — weather forecasts for a specific day more than a year away don't exist yet. What would matter closer to the date is a reliable multi-day weather forecast for Amsterdam around June 13, 2026, particularly any high-pressure or low-pressure systems moving through the Netherlands that week. Weather is genuinely hard to predict even a few days out, let alone over a year ahead. The three options here span only a 3°C range, which makes this especially tricky — a slightly cloudier morning or a sea breeze off the North Sea could shift the peak by a degree and change the outcome entirely. June in Amsterdam averages highs around 17–19°C, which is why the market clusters tightly there, but day-to-day variation is real and meaningful at this level of precision.
