Highest temperature in Chicago on June 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 14, 2026, what will the single highest temperature of the day be at Chicago O'Hare Airport? The answer gets sorted into a temperature range — like 70–71°F or 72–73°F — and whichever range contains the actual peak temperature wins. Think of it as guessing the hottest moment of that one day in Chicago, measured at the airport weather station. After June 14 ends, the market checks Weather Underground's official record for Chicago O'Hare (station KORD) and finds the highest single temperature reading logged that day. Whichever 2-degree range that number falls into is the winner. Temperatures are rounded to whole degrees — no decimals. One important detail: the market waits until the first data point from June 15 appears before settling, so any last-minute corrections to June 14's data can still be counted. No recent news relevant to this market was provided. The one headline supplied is about Indian politics and has no connection to Chicago weather. To follow this market meaningfully, you'd want to watch short-range weather forecasts for Chicago in the days leading up to June 14, 2026 — those become quite reliable within about a week of the date. Weather, even a week out, is genuinely hard to nail down to a 2-degree window. June 14 in Chicago can range widely — a cool cloudy day might peak around 68°F, a warm sunny one could push into the mid-70s or higher. The market currently spreads probability fairly evenly across several ranges, which reflects that honest uncertainty. The forecast will sharpen dramatically as the date approaches, but right now the outcome is a real open question.
