Highest temperature in Helsinki on June 13?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 13, 2026, what will the warmest part of the day feel like in Helsinki? Specifically, it asks which single temperature — 15°C, 16°C, or 17°C — will be the highest reading of the day at Helsinki's airport weather station. In practical terms, 15°C is a cool, jacket-weather day; 16°C is mild; 17°C is pleasantly warm for early summer in Finland. The market is essentially a weather forecast broken into three narrow bands. Whoever runs this market will check the Weather Underground website for the Helsinki Vantaa Airport Station on June 13, 2026, and read the single highest temperature recorded that day, rounded to a whole number in Celsius. Whichever band — 15°C, 16°C, or 17°C — contains that number wins. The result is locked in once the first weather reading from June 14 appears on that site. Worth noting: if the actual high falls outside all three bands (say, 14°C or 18°C), the market would need a different resolution path — the criteria don't explicitly address that, which is a small edge case to be aware of. No relevant news was provided for this market. That's completely normal here — what would actually matter is a weather forecast for Helsinki around June 13, 2026, particularly any meteorological outlook for that week showing whether a warm or cool air mass is expected over Finland. Weather is genuinely hard to forecast more than a few days out, and these three temperature bands are each just one degree wide — a very narrow target. The difference between a 16°C day and a 17°C day can come down to a single cloud passing at the wrong moment. Helsinki in mid-June averages highs in roughly this range, so all three outcomes are plausible. The market's spread across all three options reflects that real uncertainty well. Even a professional meteorologist would struggle to pick the exact degree this far in advance.
