Highest temperature in Houston on June 14?

What you need to know

This market is asking: on June 14, 2026, how hot will it get in Houston? Specifically, it wants to know which two-degree temperature band — like 88–89°F or 90–91°F — will contain the single highest temperature reading of that day. It's not about averages or overnight lows. Just the peak moment of heat on that one afternoon, measured at one specific weather station near Houston. The market settles based on the highest temperature recorded at William P. Hobby Airport on June 14, 2026, as reported by Weather Underground. Whatever the peak reading is that day — say, 89°F — whichever range contains that number wins. Readings are whole-number degrees only, no decimals. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 15 appears, and any last-minute corrections to the June 14 data are accepted until that cutoff. No recent news was provided for this market. For a question like this, what would matter most is closer-to-the-date weather forecasts for Houston in mid-June — particularly any signals about heat domes, Gulf moisture patterns, or unusually warm or cool early-summer conditions heading into that week. June in Houston is consistently hot, but 'how hot exactly' on any single day is genuinely hard to pin down a year in advance. The market currently spreads probability across three bands — 88–89°F leads at 37%, followed by 90–91°F at 30%, and 86–87°F at 21% — reflecting real spread in historical outcomes. A passing storm could keep the peak low; a stalled heat dome could push it higher. One year out, no forecast exists yet.
