Highest temperature in Istanbul on June 14?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 14, 2026, what will be the hottest temperature of the day at Istanbul Airport? The options are specific degree readings in Celsius — roughly, 23°C is a mild early-summer day (about 73°F), 24°C is a touch warmer (75°F), and 25°C is comfortably warm (77°F). Whichever single temperature turns out to be the day's peak, recorded by the official weather station at the airport, determines the winner. At the end of June 14, 2026, whoever runs this market checks the official NOAA weather record for Istanbul Airport (station code LTFM) and finds the single highest temperature logged that day, rounded to the nearest whole degree Celsius. Whichever option contains that number wins. One small detail: the market waits until the first data point from June 15 appears before settling, to make sure the full day's readings are in. Any last-minute corrections to the data are accepted up until that cutoff. The only news item provided is a publication date matching the market's resolution day itself, with no usable content attached. There is no relevant recent weather reporting to draw on here. The kind of update that would matter is a short-range weather forecast for Istanbul for June 14 — that would give the clearest signal of where temperatures are headed. Weather prediction is genuinely hard even a few days out, let alone a year away. The three leading options (23°C, 24°C, 25°C) cover only a 3-degree range, and a single warm or cool air mass shifting over Istanbul can easily move the peak temperature outside that window entirely. June in Istanbul can produce days warmer than 25°C or cooler than 23°C. The market's spread across three close options reflects real meteorological uncertainty — small changes in timing or wind direction can flip the outcome.
