Highest temperature in London on June 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 15, 2026, what will the hottest part of the day feel like in London? Specifically, it's asking you to pick the peak temperature — the single highest number the thermometer hits that day — at London City Airport. A mild summer day in London typically sits around 18–22°C (roughly 64–72°F), so the three leading options (21°C, 22°C, 23°C) all represent a warm but not exceptional mid-June day. The market settles based on the single highest temperature recorded at London City Airport (station code EGLC) on June 15, 2026, as reported by the weather site Wunderground, measured in whole degrees Celsius. Whichever bracket that number falls into wins. The result can only be confirmed once data from June 16 starts appearing on the site, and only temperature readings published before that cut-off count — any later corrections to the data are ignored. No relevant weather news was provided for this market. The one headline supplied is about Indian politics and has no connection to London temperatures. To watch for something useful, look for medium-range UK weather forecasts as June 15 gets closer — forecasters typically give meaningful accuracy about 7–10 days out. Weather is genuinely hard to pin down more than a week ahead, and a single day's peak temperature can swing several degrees based on whether a warm front arrives on time, whether it's cloudy, or whether wind direction shifts. The market currently leans toward 22°C (39%), but 21°C and 23°C together hold nearly half the probability, reflecting real spread. Even accurate seasonal forecasts can't reliably nail one specific day's high to within a single degree.
