Highest temperature in Paris on June 16?

What you need to know

This market is asking: on June 16, 2026, what will the hottest temperature of the day be in Paris? Specifically, it's asking you to pick the right number from a small set of options — 28°C, 29°C, 30°C, and presumably others — where the winner is whichever option matches the actual peak temperature recorded that day. Think of it like guessing the high on a weather forecast, but for one specific day and one specific weather station near Paris. The market settles based on the single highest temperature reading logged at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on June 16, 2026, pulled from the weather website Wunderground. The temperature is recorded in whole degrees Celsius — so 28.7°C would count as 28°C, not 29°C. The result is locked in once the first reading from June 17 appears on that site, after which no corrections to June 16's data are accepted. Whichever option bracket contains that final whole-degree number wins. The one news item provided — about a shooting near a Walmart parking lot — has no connection to Paris weather or this market at all. There is no relevant recent news to report here. What would actually matter to watch for is any extended weather forecast for Paris around mid-June 2026, particularly forecasts issued in the days just before June 16. June weather in Paris is genuinely variable — mid-June can range from a cool, cloudy 20°C to a sunny 35°C depending on the year and the prevailing air mass. The market currently spreads its weight almost evenly across 28°C and 29°C, with 30°C also in play, which reflects real uncertainty. The biggest challenge is that meaningful weather forecasts only exist about 10 days out, so until we are very close to June 16, 2026, no one can know with confidence where the temperature will land.
