Highest temperature in Tokyo on June 15?
What you need to know
This market is asking: on June 15, 2026, what will the hottest part of the day feel like at Tokyo's Haneda Airport — specifically, which single degree Celsius will be the peak temperature recorded that day? The three leading options are 21°C, 22°C, and 23°C, which in everyday terms is a mild to warm late-spring day, roughly 70–73°F — not hot by summer standards, but comfortably warm. Whichever specific degree matches the official reading that day wins. The market settles on whichever temperature range matches the single highest reading logged at Tokyo Haneda Airport Station on June 15, 2026, as reported by Weather Underground. The key detail: temperatures are rounded to whole degrees Celsius — so 22.7°C counts as 22°C, not 23°C. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 16 appears on that site. Any corrections made before that cutoff count; corrections after do not. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. Because the event is over a year away, weather forecasts won't exist yet — that's completely normal. What would matter closer to the date: seasonal outlooks for the Tokyo area in mid-June, any unusual climate patterns affecting Japan that spring, and real-time forecasts in the days just before June 15, 2026. Weather is genuinely hard to predict a year out, and a single-degree resolution makes this especially tricky — the difference between 21°C and 22°C on any given day can come down to cloud cover, wind, or a rain shower. The market currently leans toward 22°C at 34%, but the spread across the top three options is fairly even, reflecting real uncertainty. Mid-June in Tokyo sits right at the edge of rainy season, which adds another layer of unpredictability to daily highs.
