Highest temperature in Wuhan on June 12?

What you need to know

This market is asking: on June 12, 2026, what will the single highest temperature of the day be in Wuhan, China? The three options are 28°C (about 82°F), 29°C (about 84°F), or 30°C (about 86°F). Think of it as guessing the peak afternoon heat on one specific summer day at Wuhan's airport weather station — not the average, just the hottest reading recorded that day. The market settles based on the highest temperature recorded at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport on June 12, 2026, as shown on the weather site Weather Underground. Whatever single whole-degree reading is the peak that day determines the winner. One important detail: the measurement is always rounded to a whole number — no decimals. The result is locked in once the first data point for June 13 is published; any corrections before that moment count, but not after. No recent news relevant to this market was provided. That makes sense — this is a weather question about a specific day more than a year away. What would actually matter closer to the date are seasonal weather forecasts for central China in early June, or signals from climate pattern outlooks like El Niño or La Niña that could shift typical temperatures up or down. Weather more than a year out is genuinely hard to predict — even the best forecasts lose reliability after about two weeks. The market is nearly split between 28°C and 29°C (44% vs 43%), which honestly reflects that kind of uncertainty. Early June in Wuhan is warm but variable; a cooler cloudy day could land at 28°C, while a sunny afternoon could easily push to 29°C or beyond. The margin between these outcomes is just a single degree, which is well within normal daily weather variation.
