Highest temperature in Wuhan on June 14?
What you need to know
This market is simply asking: how hot will Wuhan get on June 14, 2026? Specifically, it asks for the single highest temperature recorded that day at Wuhan's main airport weather station. The three options — 29°C, 30°C, and 31°C — are individual whole-number degree readings, not ranges. So the question is really: will the peak temperature that day be closer to a warm 29°C (about 84°F), a hotter 30°C (86°F), or a hotter still 31°C (88°F)? The market settles based on the highest temperature reading logged on June 14, 2026, at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, as shown on the Weather Underground website. The reading is in whole degrees Celsius — no decimals. The market waits until the first data point from June 15 appears on that site, then locks in the peak from June 14. Any late corrections to the data are only accepted before that first June 15 reading is published. After that, the number is final. No specific recent news was provided for this market. The most relevant thing to watch as June 14, 2026 approaches would be medium-range weather forecasts for Wuhan — particularly any forecast models projecting a heat wave or an unusually cool spell in central China during mid-June. Seasonal climate patterns for Wuhan in June would also be useful context, since the city sits in a region known for hot, humid summers. June weather is genuinely hard to pin down more than a few days in advance, and the options here are very close together — a single degree separates each one. The market currently spreads probability fairly evenly across 29°C, 30°C, and 31°C, which honestly reflects how tight and uncertain this call is. Even with a perfect forecast model, day-to-day temperature variation, a passing cloud, or a brief shower can push the peak reading one degree either way. There is no strong favorite here.
