Lowest temperature in London on June 13?

What you need to know

This market is asking: what will the coldest temperature be in London on June 13, 2026? Specifically, it's asking whether the lowest reading of the day will fall into the 13°C range, the 12°C range, or lower. In plain terms, 13°C is a cool but normal early-summer night in London — roughly 55°F — while 12°C or below would mean a noticeably chilly night for mid-June. The market settles based on one specific data point: the single lowest temperature recorded at London City Airport on June 13, 2026, as shown on the Weather Underground website. Whatever whole-degree Celsius number that reading lands on determines the winner. The market can only close after the first data from June 14 appears on that site, locking in the final reading. Temperature revisions made before that cutoff count; anything changed afterward does not. No relevant news was provided for this market. The one headline available — about a UN visit to Sri Lanka — has no connection to London weather. For a market like this, the things worth watching closer to the date would be extended weather forecasts for London and any unusual pressure systems moving across the UK in mid-June. The market is heavily one-sided — nearly all probability is on 13°C. At this point, the main uncertainty is simply whether something unusual happens: an unexpected cold snap, a weather system that pushes overnight temperatures lower than typical for mid-June. June in London rarely dips below 12°C, so the market reflects that historical reality. The honest question is not whether 13°C or 12°C is more likely — it's just whether a rare exception occurs.
