MSI 2026: Winner
What you need to know
This market asks which team will win the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), one of the biggest annual international tournaments in League of Legends esports. MSI brings together top teams from regions around the world — Korea, China, Europe, and others — to compete for a global title. A Yes on Hanwha Life Esports means that Korean team wins the whole tournament; a Yes on Bilibili Gaming means the Chinese team wins; 'Other' covers any team not individually listed. The market settles on whichever team finishes in 1st place at MSI 2026, using the official LoL Esports website as the main source. The tournament runs June 28 – July 12, 2026, and the market closes July 13. If for any reason a winner is not confirmed by July 31, 2026, the market resolves as 'Other' — so a cancellation or unresolved result would not go to either named team. There is also a rare alphabetical tiebreaker clause, though ties in this format are extremely unusual. None of the provided news headlines relate to MSI 2026 or League of Legends esports in any way — they cover unrelated political, health, and international topics. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The type of development worth watching would be match results as the tournament progresses, any team roster changes, or official announcements from Riot Games about the event schedule. The market currently shows Hanwha Life Esports at 100%, which means participants have priced in an almost certain win — leaving essentially no probability for any other outcome. At that level, the honest uncertainty is not 'who will win' but simply whether something unexpected happens: an upset loss, a disqualification, a cancellation, or a result not confirmed in time. Dominant favorites do occasionally lose in esports, where single-series eliminations can amplify upsets, but the market is treating that risk as negligible right now.
