What will South Korea ETF (EWY) hit in June 2026?

83%Updated 2 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks whether EWY — a US-listed fund that tracks South Korean stocks like Samsung and Hyundai — will touch specific price levels during June 2026. There are three price targets: $190, $192, and $194. Each is its own Yes/No question: did the ETF's price reach that level, even briefly, during any single minute of normal trading in June? All three are currently priced at 100%, meaning the market treats them as already done or essentially certain. Each target resolves Yes if, at any point in June 2026 during regular US market hours (9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern), the ETF's price touched or exceeded that level for even one minute. The price data comes from a service called Pyth, using one-minute candles — tiny snapshots of the price every 60 seconds. A brief spike counts. Pre-market and after-hours trading do not count. If there's a stock split, prices are adjusted. If Pyth has a technical outage, the official daily high from the exchange is used instead. None of the provided news headlines are relevant to EWY's price or South Korean financial markets. They cover a hockey match, a diplomatic meeting, and unrelated international stories. There is no recent market-moving news here to point to. What would actually matter: news about South Korean corporate earnings, US-Korea trade relations, the Korean won's exchange rate, or broad global market swings. Since all three targets are priced at 100%, the market is effectively saying these prices have already been reached or are a near-certainty. The main residual uncertainty is not whether EWY goes up — it's whether something unusual prevents confirmation, like a data error on Pyth or a dramatic market crash that hasn't happened yet. At 100% odds, there's no real debate about direction. The only genuine question is whether a rare, unexpected disruption could change the outcome.

How this resolves

Resolves July 1, 2026

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, at any point during June 2026, any 1-minute candle for South Korea ETF (EWY) has a final "Low" price equal to or below the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. Prices occurring during pre-market or after-hours trading will not qualify. Prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Pyth — specifically, the South Korea ETF (EWY) "Low" prices available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.EWY%2FUSD, with the chart settings configured for 1-minute candles. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.EWY%2FUSD?t=1773432000) If the relevant Pyth data is unavailable due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption that prevents verification of the required 1-minute candle data, the official daily low price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine whether the listed price was reached during the applicable trading session.
