Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve according to the winner of the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2026 Split 2. If the 2026 Split 2 is postponed after July 7, 2026 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared in this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". If multiple teams are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Riot Games (https://lolesports.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Bilibili Gaming are the heaviest-backed contenders to win the LPL 2026 Split 2 in current prediction market trading, with volume heavily concentrated on their outcome. Top Esports, JD Gaming, and Anyone's Legend form a secondary cluster of contenders at a distance. The market resolves according to the official LPL Split 2 champion declared by Riot Games, with a resolution deadline of 30 June 2026.
Market structure
The market covers 15 team outcomes across the full LPL roster. Volume is heavily concentrated on a single team — Bilibili Gaming — with a secondary cluster comprising Top Esports, JD Gaming, and Anyone's Legend. The remaining outcomes attract minimal trading interest. Resolution is sourced from official Riot Games information at lolesports.com, or a consensus of credible reporting. The deadline is 30 June 2026, with a contingency resolution to 'Other' if the split is postponed past 7 July 2026, cancelled, or a winner is not declared.
Background
The League of Legends Pro League is China's premier professional League of Legends competition, operated under Riot Games' global esports structure. The LPL is widely regarded as one of the two most competitive regional leagues in the world alongside the Korean LCK, and Chinese teams have historically dominated international events including multiple World Championship titles. The league operates on a split format, with Split 2 typically running through mid-year and culminating in a playoff bracket that determines the regional champion. The Split 2 winner also secures significant seeding advantages for international competition. Bilibili Gaming have established themselves as one of the league's foremost organisations in recent seasons, while Top Esports and JD Gaming carry sustained pedigrees as historically strong franchises.
Key factors
Several structural factors could influence which team claims the Split 2 title. Roster stability and mid-split transfers during the LPL's roster window can shift competitive balance, as player acquisitions or departures alter team dynamics ahead of playoffs. The double-elimination playoff format means a single poor series does not eliminate a team immediately, creating pathways for lower-seeded sides. Meta shifts introduced through Riot Games' patch cycle during the split can disproportionately benefit teams whose playstyles align with the current strongest champions and strategies. Fatigue from international commitments — including Mid-Season Invitational, which overlaps with the domestic calendar — may affect preparation windows for certain squads. The alphabetical tiebreaker clause applies only in the unlikely event that multiple teams are simultaneously declared winner, which is not a standard outcome under current LPL format rules but constitutes a defined contingency in the resolution criteria.
