Market structure

The market covers eleven outcomes and is heavily concentrated on a small cluster of teams, with CCG Esports and NRG accounting for the bulk of volume. Conviction and Supernova hold meaningful secondary positions. Resolution is sourced from official Riot Games information via lolesports.com, or a consensus of credible reporting. Background

The North American Challengers League is Riot Games' second-tier professional League of Legends competition in North America, sitting below the LCS in the regional structure. It serves as a proving ground for emerging talent and organisations seeking promotion pathways into top-tier North American play. The NACL operates on a split format, with Spring and Summer seasons each producing a champion. The 2026 Spring edition continues a competitive landscape that has seen several organisations invest heavily in Challengers-level rosters as a route to LCS contention. CCG Esports and NRG have both established themselves as recurring presences in NACL competition, while teams such as Conviction and Supernova represent the competitive depth of the current field.

Key factors

Team roster stability through the Spring split is a primary factor, as mid-season substitutions or player eligibility issues can significantly alter competitive trajectories. The tournament format — including the structure of group stages, playoffs brackets, and seeding — determines which teams must face one another and at what stage, creating path-dependency in outcomes. Historical performance in prior NACL splits informs but does not guarantee current results, as roster turnover between seasons is common at this level. Organisational resources, coaching infrastructure, and scrim access can influence preparation quality. If Riot Games adjusts the schedule, introduces format changes, or a team becomes ineligible due to roster violations, the resolution timeline or eligible winner pool could shift. The 'Other' resolution mechanism also captures scenarios where no single winner can be confirmed by the specified deadline.
