F1 Drivers' Champion
What you need to know
This market is asking: which driver will finish the 2026 Formula 1 season with the most points overall? The three drivers listed — Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, and Lando Norris — each have a separate Yes/No question: will this specific driver be the champion? A Yes means that driver ends the season at the top of the standings; a No means someone else does. The market is currently treating Antonelli as the frontrunner, with Russell as the main rival. The market settles based on the official F1 drivers' standings after the final race of the 2026 season — whenever that last race finishes. The champion is whoever holds first place in points. If two drivers somehow tie on points, F1's own tiebreak rules decide it. One important edge case: if a driver becomes mathematically eliminated during the season — meaning they can no longer catch the leader even in theory — their market resolves No right then, before the season ends. If the whole season is cancelled or unfinished by March 31, 2027, it resolves as 'Other.' One headline directly relevant here: a Monaco Grand Prix preview from June 2, 2026 asks 'who can stop Kimi Antonelli?' — suggesting Antonelli is leading or performing strongly at this point in the season. The other headlines are unrelated to the championship race. No news was provided about standings, points gaps, or recent race results, so the full picture of where things stand in the championship isn't available from what's here. The 2026 season is still running, so a lot can change. Formula 1 championships are decided over many races — mechanical failures, crashes, penalties, or a sudden improvement from a rival team can swing the standings quickly. Antonelli, notably, is a rookie in 2026, and rookie form can be inconsistent under pressure. The market prices him as the favourite at 51%, but that still leaves nearly a 50% chance the title goes elsewhere. The main uncertainty is simply how the remaining races unfold — which no one can know yet.

How this resolves
Resolves December 6, 2026
This market will resolve according to the listed driver that finishes 1st in the driver standings for the 2026 F1 season. This market will resolve as soon as the official results of the final scheduled race of the 2026 F1 season are known. If multiple drivers tie for first place in the drivers standings, this market will resolve according to the tiebreak procedure used by F1 to determine the 2026 F1 Drivers’ champion. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed driver to win the 2026 F1 Drivers Championship based on the rules of F1 (e.g., they are mathematically eliminated from contention), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the F1 season is permanently canceled or has not been completed by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Formula 1.
